Hiked Table Mountain this weekend–it was absolutely gorgeous. Took us about an hour and 45 minutes. The superfit should be able to do it in about an hour and the lazy should be able to do it in three. I think we could have done it in an hour and a half, but we took an excessive number of breaks. The climb was relatively easy as far as hiking goes–stone stairs and distinct pathes lead you all the way to the top. It’s about 3km long and the altitude change is a total of 600m or so (400masl to 1000masl).
We made a few friends. Ben and Manro. Local Cape Town kids–their first time hiking. They were funny kids. I think they had a crush on Reyes.
