Wall-E says, “Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.”

This one is for Andrew. It goes along with the other requests I’ve gotten from people who donated for my birthday gift.(1) Andrew wanted a triptych of anything(2) but with a catch — I had to use a separate lens for each panel. Now considering the huge variance in my lenses(3), this is no easy task.

Nevertheless, I gave it a go and this is what I came up with.

Here are the three panels…

  1. Reduce — He’s in a Brita filter bottle. I dunno… isn’t that one obvious?
  2. Reuse — He’s measuring his height in mL against a Nalgene bottle.(4)
  3. Recycle — He’s running away from an avalanche of unrecycled bottles.

Ok. So I could have done a better job, but I’m using a text book as a tripod, a cutting board as a flash diffuser, posterboard as background, and a white trashbag as a reflector — cut me some slack.

I’m tired right now but tomorrow I’ll post about the evils of plastic bottles and the wastefulness of American society. Until then, I’ll give you guys a bonus photo:
